Local delivery information

With a store strategically located between Wollongong and Nowra, on the South-Coast of NSW , we are able to deliver from Kiama to Nowra and all the way through to Wollongong , we are ideally placed to deliver beautiful flowers across the region on the same day they are ordered.

If you would like flowers delivered to a location that is outside the Wollongong – Nowra area, DO NOT GIVE UP. PLEASE CONTACT US BY PHONING (+61 2) 4293 1252 to discuss how we can help you – there is always a way!

Delivery is usually available within 24 hours, and we pride ourselves on sending our flowers far and wide on a daily basis. However, occasionally it may take a little longer because our store (and recipients) are located in semi-rural and coastal areas, subject to changing local conditions. Wherever and whenever we experience a challenging delivery situation, we will contact you to discuss the options available.

Normal delivery hours for Posy Jones Floral Co. are between 9am and 6.30pm Monday to Friday, (9-3pm on Saturday), for residential addresses and between 9.00am and 5.00pm, Monday to Friday, for business addresses. We cannot guarantee a specific delivery time. We will make every attempt to fulfil your request but cannot guarantee it.

If your delivery is urgent PLEASE CONTACT US BY PHONING (+61 2) 4293 1252. We will provide you with immediate advice on delivery availability and do our utmost to deliver your flowers.

Our store is closed on public holidays, and therefore we will deliver your gift on the next business day.

Delivery costs vary depending on the delivery location, starting at $5 for delivery to Kiama Downs, Local delivery from Minnamurra to Kiama Heights is free with orders $35 and over and all other areas between Nowra -Wollongong is a standard delivery fee of $15.00 which will be added to your order. This fee covers delivery of your flowers anywhere within our direct delivery locations.

Sometimes, because of the (usually remote) location of the recipient, or for other reasons beyond our control (eg impassable roads), we may need to contact the recipient and discuss the best way of getting your flowers to them.

Delivery to hospitals, nursing homes and retirement villages

For hospital, nursing home or retirement village deliveries, please provide us with the following information about the recipient:

  • Name and address of the hospital/nursing home/retirement village
  • Whether the recipient is a patient/resident or part of the staff
  • Ward name and/or room number if the recipient is a patient

For hospital and nursing home deliveries, we recommend sending flowers and gifts that are already arranged in a box, vase or Posy Bottle.

We also suggest that you avoid sending loose, cut flowers as there is usually a limited number of suitable vases available.

One final tip: Select one of our beautiful compact designs as space in wards and rooms is often restricted.

Delivery to Hotels, Motels and B&Bs

For deliveries to hotels, motels and B&Bs, please provide us with the following information about the recipient:

  • The name of the Hotel, Motel or B&B and address
  • Whether the recipient is a guest or part of the staff
  • Room name or number if the recipient is a guest

Delivery of flowers to funeral services

Working closely with families and funeral directors, we treat funeral orders with the highest of priority. To ensure that your flower order is fulfilled as smoothly as possible please supply the following information in the message:

  • Name of the funeral home or location of the funeral service

I want to send something that isn’t on the Posy Jones Floral Co website, what can you do?

Don’t give up! Ring us on 02 4293 1252 and talk to us about what you would like. We have built our reputation on going over and above to meet the special needs of our customers. We will do our very best to meet your needs.

Can I buy a gift voucher?

Yes you can! Please ring us on 02 4293 1252 and speak with one of our florists to arrange a gift voucher to be delivered to someone special.

How do I know you received my order?

You will receive an email confirmation that we have your order. If you have placed an order online and not received an email, PLEASE CONTACT US BY PHONING (+61 2) 4293 1252.

Where do you deliver?

We deliver from Kiama –Wollongong-Nowra and areas inbetween.

What if the recipient is not home upon delivery?

If the recipient isn’t at home, there are three things that could happen.

  1. Our delivery driver will leave the flowers at the front or back door if the sender has requested they do so.
  2. If our delivery driver deems it safe to leave the flowers at the recipient’s address they will be left at the suitable location.
  3. If it is not suitable to leave the flowers, a delivery notice will be left at the door or in the letterbox asking the recipient to contact Posy Jones Floral Co and arrange for the flowers to be collected from our store or for a convenient time for redelivery. Additional charges will apply. We will contact you should this situation arise.

What happens if I supply the wrong address?

Please be very careful in providing us with correct information.

It is your obligation to enter the correct delivery address details at the time of ordering. If the delivery details you have given are incorrect, Posy Jones Floral Co will not refund. Should you wish to send the flowers again – to the correct address – you will be charged the full amount for our creation again, including the delivery charge.

Have my flowers been delivered?

If you would like to know if your flowers have been delivered, please ring us on 02 4293 1252 a day after the set delivery date. By then, we should be able to confirm with our delivery drivers if the delivery was made.

What if I need to request a delivery time?

If your delivery is urgent PLEASE CONTACT US BY PHONING (+61 2) 4293 1252. We will provide you with immediate advice on delivery availability and do our utmost to deliver your flowers.

What is the deadline for placing an order?

All orders placed before 10:30am, will be guaranteed same day delivery.

We will do our very best to deliver same day for any order placed AFTER 10:30am. We will ring you to discuss your order.

We offer an express delivery service for locations within a 5 km radius of our store. PLEASE CONTACT US BY PHONING (+61 2) 4293 1252 to discuss your request with one of our florists.

Do you deliver on the weekend or public holidays?

We do deliver on Saturdays, although it depends on the delivery location.

We do not deliver on Sundays or public holidays.

What if I want to cancel my order?

If you need to cancel your order for any reason, PLEASE CONTACT US BY PHONING (+61 2) 4293 1252. Do not email Posy Jones Floral Col when cancelling an order as immediate contact with us is the best way of ensuring the issue is resolved as soon as possible.

Posy Jones Floral Co. requests that you provide us with 24 hours notice prior to the delivery date, should you need to cancel your order. Under this circumstance, we will refund you, less a $20 administrative fee.

If you need to cancel your order on the delivery date, you will be charged 50% of the total order value. If we have already created your order and dispatched it with our courier for delivery, we are simply unable to cancel your order.

Can I change or amend my order?

If you need to CHANGE or AMEND your order for any reason, PLEASE CONTACT US BY PHONING (+61 2) 4293 1252. Do not email Posy Jones Floral Co when changing or amending an order as immediate contact with us is the best way of ensuring the issue is resolved as soon as possible.

Posy Jones Floral Co requests that you provide us with 24 hours notice prior to the delivery date, should you need to cancel your order.

We are unable to make changes or amendments for orders already prepared and/or in transit. Depending upon the change or amendment you may have to pay for any additional fees or charges incurred. These will be discussed and agreed with you when you ring us.

Please note that during the Special Occasions (for example Valentines Day and Mothers Day) Posy Jones Floral Co reserves the right to not accept changes or amendments to any orders.

What if my credit card is declined?

To avoid delays with processing your order, please ensure your payment details are accurately entered into our secure online ordering system. If we encounter any issues with your payment, we will contact you as soon as possible. Please understand that we cannot dispatch your flowers until payment has been confirmed.

Are there any additional charges?

Yes, there is a delivery charge of $15.00. This charge applies to all areas outside Kiama to which we deliver directly.

What is the currency of the prices shown?

All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD).

What methods of payment are acceptable?

You can pay using PayPal online and we accept VISA and MasterCard credit cards. . PLEASE CONTACT US BY PHONING (+61 2) 4293 1252 if you would like to pay for your order via telephone.

Can I set up a Corporate Account?

At Posy Jones Floral Co, we assist our corporate clients by providing a number of payment options.

Corporate Accounts are available for clients wishing to place orders with us on a regular basis.
